‘After seeing Julie for a couple of months I began to understand the reasons why my eating was out of control. I now have a normal relationship with food, am more confident and a lot happier.’
Throughout these programmes I believe in helping the whole person, with a healthy eating plan – no more diets, life style changers, exercise, improving self esteem and body image, educating you to understand your eating disorder and how to break free. I use the Cognitive Therapy approach.
My approach is very different to a lot out there. It’s not about willpower or control. I won’t bully or push you. I believe in encouraging, helping and supporting you through your recovery. It’s not your fault, remember, but circumstances.
This programme is not counselling. Though I do help you to understand some of the reasons you may have an eating disorder, the treatment is about dealing with the present and giving you the skills and power to move forward and break free.
